Apostles Publishing began as Big
Creek Publishing Ministry in early 2005 when we, the
staff of Big Creek Church, realized that there wasn't a
curriculum out there that had everything that we wanted.
We wanted something that was flexible, had a strong
Biblical foundation, and still "wowed" the kids (all
without costing an arm and a leg). So, we began writing
our own!
We admit,
the first couple of months were a bit rocky, but as time
went on, we got the hang of it! The leaders liked it,
the kids were learning and having fun, all was well with
the world. Then, we said to ourselves "Selves, why have
all these resources and not share them with other
churches?"
So, in late
2006, we gave ourselves a name: Apostles Publishing
(Apostles is the name of our creative team, plus it
didn't hurt that "apostle" can be defined as a 'support
system' and 'passionate pioneer bringing about change')
and decided to make our stuff available to everyone.
That brings
us today, our very first VBS program is available and we have several children and youth Bible studies
schedule to release over the coming months. Plus, our
first children's anytime curriculum will be available in
the fall of 2009.Thanks for
